DNTA 1305 - Dental Radiology

Prerequisites: Admission to the Dental Assisting Certificate or Associate Degree Program or approval of program coordinator.

Corequisites: DNTA 1311 and DNTA 1415

Introduction to radiation physics, radiation protection, and the operation of radiographic equipment. Instruction in exposure, processing and mounting of dental radiographs, and study of federal and state safety and standard practices.

Recommended Basic Skills prerequisites: INRW 0420 , MATH 0305
