An exciting and rewarding career awaits you after completing the two‐year Foundation courses in Architectural Computer Aided Drafting.  While working toward your Associate of Applied Sciences degree, you will have the opportunity to study residential and commercial design. Included in these areas of study will be the preparation of construction documents, life safety and building codes, the electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air‐conditioning requirements of a building and their impact on Architectural construction projects.

Exploring Architecture, building materials and the methods of construction will add to your base of knowledge. Additionally, classes in Architectural Illustration and computer‐aided drafting will help you to develop a portfolio of work to present to prospective employers.
