San Antonio College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees and various Certificates. Normal inquiries about the institution, such as admission requirements, financial aid, educational programs, etc., should be addressed directly to the college and not to the Commission’s office; the Commission is to be contacted only if there is evidence that appears to support an institution’s significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard.
Programmatic accreditations include the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation, the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), the Board of Nursing (BON) for the State of Texas, the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN), and the Community College Journalism Association.
