The Administrative Computer Technology department offers a three-level certificate program designed to meet the needs of students who primarily seek employment skills. The Administrative Systems Specialist I Level I Certificate is the second in a ladder of three successive certificates—-Office Technician, 18 hours; Administrative Systems Specialist I, 30 hours; and Administrative Systems Specialist II, 45 hours. These certificates lead next to the Administrative Assistant AAS degree. After completing one of the 18-, 30-, or 45-hour certificate plans, students will have sufficient skills to obtain employment in certain entry-level jobs or to advance in their current position. Courses at each level are included on the next level and all lead toward the Associate of Applied Science degree.
