Return to: Degree Plans & Certificates - Academic/Technical The Radio-Television-Broadcasting Program combines theoretical understanding of radio and television and extensive hands-on training to prepare students for success in rapidly changing fields in mass media.
The Field of Study curriculum in the Associate of Arts with a concentration in Radio Television Broadcasting degree, as listed in the additional requirements, has been approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Some four-year institutions may not accept all courses in the major field of study as part of their Baccalaureate Degree Program. Students should check with the Department of Media Communications or the four-year institution to which they plan to transfer for information. Students may earn the Associate of Arts with a concentration in Radio-Television-Broadcasting by completing the degree requirements listed below or may earn the Associate of Arts-Transfer Curriculum degree by completing the entire two years of any Radio-Television-Broadcasting curriculum identified in a current 2+2 transfer agreement with a senior institution.
