Return to Degree Plans & Certificates - Academic/Technical Return to: Degree Plans & Certificates - Academic/Technical

This is an Associate of Arts with a concentration in Sociology.

The study of sociology will prepare students for entrance into various careers.  The relevance of sociology for all students is the expansion of human awareness and multiculturalism.  In a society and world becoming more complex and interrelated, students increasingly need to be aware of the social and culture environments affecting their lives.

All sociology majors should contact the Sociology Department for advising before registering for courses.
