Human Services: Substance Abuse Prevention, Level I Certificate

Return to: Degree Plans & Certificates - Academic/Technical The Human Services, Level I Certificate is designed for individuals currently working in the alcohol/drug/tobacco prevention area and/or for individuals who wish to pursue training in the substance abuse prevention area. This certificate meets the educational requirements toward pursuing the Texas Department of State Health Services approved Associate Prevention Specialist designation, and can lead to international certification through the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) as a prevention specialist.
