Internal Scholarships

Alamo Colleges / SAC Scholarships are available for students graduating from high school, currently enrolled college students, those first-time-in-college, or former college students who will be attending one of the Alamo Colleges.

• The priority deadline for internal scholarships is April 15.  If you miss the priority deadline, you can submit an online application by September 15 to be considered for any additional internal scholarships that may become available.

• It is easy to apply, visit www.alamo.edu/scholarships.  See scholarship website for complete eligibility requirements.

• One scholarship application, once per academic year can be considered for several Alamo Colleges / SAC scholarships.  Scholarships can range from $250 to $1,000 per academic semester.

Academic Department Scholarships

Some SAC academic departments also administer their own scholarship programs and therefore have separate applications.  Check with the department of your major to learn of scholarships you may be eligible for and obtain an application.

External Scholarships

These are Non-Alamo Colleges Scholarships which are available to students attending any college.  Several External Scholarships references are listed on the Alamo Colleges district website.  More external scholarships information can also be found through search engines (www.fastweb.com, www.collegeboard.org, www.collegenet.com, www.scholarships.com).
