ENGL 2372 - The Literature of Mexico in Translation Prerequisites: ENGL 1301 or its equivalent with a “C” or better and ENGL 1302 or its equivalent with a “C” or better.
A general culture course satisfying three hours of language requirement in some colleges. It researches the literary history of Mexico pre-Conquest to the present. Examines major literary genres and traditions, writers, and masterworks. Introduces related readings from other arts and the social sciences. Knowledge of Spanish is not required.
