In-depth coverage of health care concepts with application through selected exemplars. Concepts include acid-base balance, coping, clotting, cognition, fluid, and electrolytes, gas exchange, immunity, metabolism, nutrition, comfort, and perfusion. Provides continuing opportunities for development of clinical judgment skills. The course lends itself to a concept- basedapproach.
