San Antonio College offers a 7-hour, two-semester sequence of developmental mathematics for those who do not meet the prerequisite requirements for college algebra or higher-level courses. Students who cannot exhibit an adequate ability through placement test performance must enroll in one or two of the developmental mathematics courses, MATH 0310 Elementary Algebra, and MATH 0320 Intermediate Algebra, which are generally considered to be non-transferable.
To enroll in MATH 1314 NON-STEM , MATH 1414 STEM College Algebra or higher, a student must meet the prerequisites and be able to demonstrate the skills necessary to succeed in mastering the materials taught in these courses.
NOTE: Students should be prepared to adjust their out-of-class schedules to meet the demands of these courses.

Architecture is the art and science of designing buildings and other physical structures… Architecture is also a profession, and as in all professions, the required training begins in college, traditionally in the freshman year. Students who are serious about becoming an Architect are advised to declare a major in architecture as early as possible.
