The Radio-Television-Broadcasting program prepares students to enter the television and radio broadcasting industries and other related media industries such as advertising, public relations and corporate communications. Students receive “hands-on” experience on the air at KSYM radio station and in the many production studios for television and audio production and editing. Technical courses are balanced with theory-based courses so students can experience a critical approach to the industry. Students work with current industry-standard software programs and state-of-the-art equipment. By working closely with a faculty advisor, students can choose electives to strengthen or broaden their own preparation for employment.
