This course of study is an overview of the music industry including songwriting, live performance, industry practices, music merchandising, legal aspects, contracts and licenses. This is the only program of its kind in San Antonio.

With this award, you may seek jobs such as:

Graduates are employed by concert venues, promotion agencies, record labels, label start-ups, music festivals, sound design and engineering and other media outlets that provide live musical performances to a private or public audience.
