SLNG 1347 - Deaf Culture
Prerequisites: SLNG 1317 and SLNG 1345/SGNL 2302 This course provides a historical and contemporary perspective of American deaf culture using a sociocultural model. Topics addressed include cultural identity, core values, group norms, communication, and language as well as significant contributions made by deaf people to the world community.
