ASTR 1304 - Solar System Lecture This course is intended for non-science majors. Topics include the origin and evolution of our solar system, including Newton’s and Kepler’s Laws, planetary atmospheres, surface processes (including impact cratering, volcanism, and plate tectonics), rings, moons, asteroids, and comets. Visits to the Scobee Planetarium and observing field trips may be held.
