ENGA 0361 - Composition and Grammar Prerequisites: Placement exam or departmental approval for enrollment
Composition and Grammar is designed for non-native English speakers who have completed ENGA 0351 and need to acquire greater proficiency in composition and grammar in order to take college-level classes. Through guided writing practice on familiar topics, students have the opportunity to acquire the necessary writing and grammar proficiency for success in English 1301 and other college-level classes. Students must pass the ENGA exit exam to transition to college-level classes. The course is taken concurrently with ENGA 0363 (Reading and Vocabulary).
