GEOL 1403 - Physical Geology This course is an introduction to the nature and properties of rocks and minerals; processes by which they are formed, altered, and transported; and the nature and development of the landscape. Laboratory work includes the study of minerals, rocks, and topographic and geologic maps. Occasional field trips may be arranged.
