This course provides the articulating student the opportunity to examine the role of the professional nurse. A systematic problem solving process and critical thinking skills will be applied to the nursing care of adult patients/clients with common medical-surgical health care needs in selected settings. Competency in knowledge, judgment, skills and professional values within a legal/ethical framework will be emphasized.
