This Associate of Applied Science degree is designed to assist students in developing the skills necessary for a career in law enforcement and leadership roles within the public sector. The program includes coursework in Public Administration, covering management, ethics, and public relations, and is tailored to meet Texas requirements for both active Texas Peace Officers and students who have earned their Law Enforcement, Level I Certificate from San Antonio College (SAC).

Additional Program Information
Students who are active Texas Peace Officers licensed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) or who have earned their Law Enforcement, Level I Certificate from San Antonio College (SAC) will receive credit for the four CJLE Basic Peace Officer courses (20 hours total) upon successful completion of six credit hours of criminal justice coursework at SAC from the following options: CRIJ 1310, CRIJ 1306, or CRIJ 1307.
