The Fire Science / Fire Technology, A.A.S., reflects the assessed needs of the community for careers in the fire service and the need for trained professionals in disaster preparedness. The curricula are designed to prepare students for career advancement and leads to university transfer credit. The curricula of the Fire Science / Fire Tech, A.A.S., meets or exceeds the standards established by the National Fire Academy-Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) committee.
