Courses for the Communications Enhanced Skills Certificate may be included in the Dental Assisting AAS Degree Program. Students may also obtain an AAS Degree in Dental Assisting without an Enhanced Skills Certificate.

Exit Competencies
Students must pass each class with a grade of “C” or better. Written Communication Competency:
ENGL 1301 Composition I and ENGL 1302 Composition II Oral Communications Competency:
SPCH 1311 Fundamentals of Speech Mathematical Skill Competency:
THEA mathematics passing score of 230
Or Accuplacer elementary algebra score of 76 or higher
Or Any college-level mathematics course, MATH 1314, MATH 1332 or equivalent Computer Competency:
ITSC 1301 Introduction to Computers |
