The Emergency Managment / Fire Technology, AAS, reflects the assessed needs of the community for careers in the fire service, law enforcement, and emergency management.  All municipalities need trained professionals in disaster preparedness and disaster plans developed and coordinated by an emergency manager. The need for disaster preparedness has been magnified by the added threat of a terrorist attack using weapons of mass destruction.

The curricula are designed to prepare students for career advancement and leads to university transfer credit.
