Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0310 This course includes a study of the microbiology and pathology vital to the paramedical health profession, upon which infectious diseases and their prevention and nursing care depend. Special emphasis is placed on disease etiology, epidemiology and host-parasite interactions.
This course fulfills the Life and Physical Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Teamwork.
