DAAC 2280 - Cooperative Education Substance Abuse /Addiction Counseling This course offers career-related activities encountered in the student’s area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the college, employer, and student. Under the supervision of the college and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. This course also includes a lecture component. Direct supervision is provided by the on-site clinical professional, qualified credentialed counselor. The hours accumulated in this course may be used to meet partial requirement toward the 4,000 hours of work experience for licensure as a chemical dependency counselor.
