Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in RNSG 1170 , RNSG 1471 , RNSG 1271 , RNSG 1161
Integrated Reading & Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: INRW 0420
Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0310 Introduction to professional nursing concepts and exemplars within the professional nursing roles: Member of Profession, Provider of Patient-Centered Care, Patient Safety Advocate, and Member of the Health Care Team. Content includes clinical judgment, communication, ethical-legal, evidenced-based practice, health promotion, informatics, patient-centered care, patient education, professionalism, safety, and team/collaboration. Emphasizes role development of the professional nurse. The course lends itself to concept-based approach.
