Communication Design, Enhanced Skills Certificate

Return to: Degree Plans & Certificates - Academic/Technical The Enhanced Skills Certificate is earned through the completion of two post-graduation courses and is designed for students who have earned an AAS Degree in Communication Design. The first course is ARTC 2388, Internship-Communication & Advertising Art. This is a work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts. A learning plan is developed by the college and the employer. The second course is MRKG 1311, Principles of Marketing. This course is an introduction to marketing functions; identification of consumer and organizational needs; explanation of economic, psychological, sociological, and global issues; and description and analysis of the importance of marketing research.
