Healthcare in America is changing rapidly; the demand for BSN-prepared nurses continues to grow. The San Antonio College RN to BSN program is designed to allow students to complete the BSN in one year, while working as a RN and earning a salary. The RN to BSN degree program prepares students for professional nursing practice across multiple healthcare settings and provides the knowledge, skills and credentials needed to take advantage of opportunities to move into higher level nursing roles.

Upon completion of the Bachelors of Science Degree, students will be able to expand their role and become leaders in the healthcare systems. In addition, they will be able to apply research to practice to assist with improving patient outcomes and quality of care. Students will be able to work in public health settings as leaders and apply the knowledge learned from the program to develop health promotion and prevention measures.
